SLC's ongoing research and collaboration role with Scholastic, a market leader in educational publishing and educational software development, has focused on translating Scholastic's expertise in instruction and intervention in the areas of literacy and language arts to mathematics.
SRI has worked collaboratively with Scholastic to offer senior executives a better understanding of the mathematics market and to offer research-backed insight into what is known—and not known—about math learning and math instruction, including why some students are struggling, and the promising components of a research-backed approach to helping those students succeed.
