Intel® Teach Essential Online Course Global Program Evaluation
Since 2004, SRI has been evaluating the proto-type, pilot, and early implementation of the Intel Teach Essentials Online Course (TEO). TEO is an online version of Intel’s centerpiece education offering, Intel Teach Essentials, which has reached over 5 million teachers worldwide. The program provides teachers the tools for integrating technology into their classrooms with a focus on project-oriented, 21st century pedagogy. SRI has designed the evaluation approach for countries implementing the program, using the US implementation as a core case study for both the program and evaluation design. SRI’s recommendations have supported the redesign of the course and the development of new strategies for implementation.
