Intel® Learn Program Evaluation
SRI is conducting a multi-year evaluation of Intel® Learnan informal, after-school program designed for community-based technology centers worldwide. Aimed at learners aged 8-16, the curriculum is particularly targeted to communities where there is limited access to technology in homes and schools. The program focuses on helping young people develop capabilities in technology literacy, critical thinking, and collaboration through hands-on learning. SRI International has developed an evaluation approach and suite of instruments designed to be adapted for use in all the countries participating in the program. After completing an evaluation of the program pilot with evaluation partners in China, Israel, Mexico, and India, SRI International has worked with Intel to develop an online tool for collecting and analyzing program data during the expansion phase of the project, which will include new partners in Egypt, Turkey, Brazil, and Russia.
