Willow Sussex
Research Social Scientist
Willow’s research interests range from the formation, implementation, and evaluation of education policy to improving STEM education for English Language Learners. During her time at SRI, Willow has participated in international evaluation efforts for Intel Education programs, conducted numerous site visits for national technology evaluations, and developed survey and interview instruments for the Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Educational Technology Interventions.
Willow's areas of technical expertise include instrument development, research synthesis, and quantitative and qualitative analysis. She is involved in both formative and summative evaluation projects at CTL.
Willow currently divides her time between SRI and a Ph.D. program in Education Policy at University of California, Berkeley.
