Sarah Zaner

Product Development Lead

Sarah Zaner leads product development at SRI Internationa's Center for Technology and Learning. CTL specializes in the design and development of technology-based curricular systems and authoring tools to help publishers, states, and districts improve math and science teaching and learning.

Sarah has an extensive background in educational consulting, publishing, instructional design, and software development. Previously at SRI, Sarah led the Strategic Learning Consulting practice, translating SRI International expertise in learning research and technology into more innovative products for clients. During her tenure at Scholastic Inc., Sarah led the development of READ 180, Scholastic's award-winning intervention product for struggling readers. She also led development efforts for ReadAbout, a technology-based reading comprehension and vocabulary product and Scholastic Red, which offers professional development courses for elementary and middle school educators.

Sarah has also worked as a product design and development consultant for education-related start-ups, non-profits, and university-based organizations.
