Nathan Dwyer
CTL Alumnus : Research Computer Scientist
Nathan Dwyer is a research computer scientist at SRI's Center for Technology in Learning. He works with teachers, curriculum designers, and software developers on creating prescriptive models for designing collaborative representations and to implement these models in software for small groups. Dr. Dwyer has Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii where he worked with Dan Suthers on effects of representational guidance, models for collaborative representations, and interaction analysis methods. Prior to graduate school, Dr. Dwyer taught computer science at a Hawaii community college and worked extensively in the software industry. His industry experience centered around interactive multi-media applications and entertainment software.
